Come learn the art of trapping with professional trapper, Jason Chapman.
This class will cover every aspect of the process, Including: Gear selection, traps and how to prepare them, Baits, attractants, and lures. Reading terrain and tracks. Learn a variety of sets for both land and water. Proper fur handling and meat processing. All topics will emphasize survival, preparedness, and bushcraft techniques for the outdoorsman. Come run an actual trapline and see the real world results for a hands on experience.
Required: Small sharp knife (for skinning), hatchet or axe, sturdy work gloves, pliers or multitool, rubber or waterproof boots, kneepads or foam kneeling pad.
Recommended: Rubber gloves, pad and pencil, ziplock baggies, trowel or small hand shovel.
