RIVER BUSHCRAFT ADVENTURE | MAY 13-15, 2022
Join Joe Flowers, International Knife Designer / Jungle Survival Guide & Instructor / Writer / Zoologist / Wilderness First Responder (Bushcraft Global) & Oconee Joe, local historian and tour guide out on the open water in this new bushcraft expedition!
We will be providing the kayaks, knowledge, history and fun as we make our way down the Oconee River May 13-15th. We will be paddling while talking and demonstrating bushcraft skills. Participants will then camp out at specific spots along the river through the Oconee National Forest.
In the afternoons, while enjoying a fun, informative, and skill centric atmosphere with multiple outdoor instructors.
-Improvise bushcraft and campcraft skills with natural material.
-Help clean up the Oconee River and improvise Maguyver style with the refuse you find along the way.
-Learn Big knife skills and machete skills for clearing out camp sites, making crafts, and obtaining food!

Join us for the follow-up to Basic Bushcraft, Intermediate Bushcraft. This is an in-depth 2-day workshop with experienced outdoorsman, 'Bushcraft Kelso'.
Intermediate Bushcraft will be focused on building multi-piece projects using dowels, buck saws, pulleys, articulating fishing lures and mechanical fishing apparatuses. The skills acquired from the Basic Bushcraft class will be necessary as we learn to further build simple machines.
