Are classes limited on participant size? Yes, classes are limited to 20 students.
Are parents required to participate? Yes, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

What is the age range for the class? All ages are welcome but We recommend ages 5-12.
Where are the workshops held? We will meet at Outpost Oconee
What should my child wear and bring to the sessions? Children should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for outdoor activities. We recommend bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. We provide all necessary materials for crafts and activities.
What if my child has allergies or special needs? Please inform us of any allergies or special needs when enrolling your child. We strive to accommodate all children and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
What happens in case of bad weather? Safety is our priority, and we will inform parents of any changes due to weather conditions.

Join us for a fun and educational Birdhouse and Feeder Workshop designed especially for kids! This hands-on workshop is perfect for young nature enthusiasts who want to learn about birds while crafting their very own birdhouse and feeder.
Workshop Highlights:
Birdhouse Building:
- Introduction to Birdhouses: Learn about the different types of birds that visit our backyards and the importance of providing safe nesting places for them. Understand how birdhouses help support local wildlife.
- Design and Construct: Choose from a variety of pre-cut wooden birdhouse kits and assemble your own birdhouse. We will guide you through the assembly process, ensuring it's sturdy and safe for birds.
- Personalize Your Birdhouse: Get creative with paint, markers, and other decorations to personalize your birdhouse. Make it unique and inviting for the birds in your area.
Bird Feeder Crafting:
- Understanding Bird Feeders: Learn how feeders help birds find food throughout the year.
- Create Your Feeder: Use natural materials to craft a simple and effective bird feeder. We will show you how to make feeders that are both functional and eco-friendly.
What’s Included:
- All materials and tools for building and decorating a personalized birdhouse and feeder.
- Bird seed to get you started with your new feeder.
