Are classes limited on participant size? Yes, classes are limited to 20 students.
Are parents required to participate? Yes, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

What is the age range for the class? All ages are welcome but We recommend ages 5-12.
Where are the workshops held? We will meet at Outpost Oconee
What should my child wear and bring to the sessions? Children should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for outdoor activities. We recommend bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. We provide all necessary materials for crafts and activities.
What if my child has allergies or special needs? Please inform us of any allergies or special needs when enrolling your child. We strive to accommodate all children and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
What happens in case of bad weather? Safety is our priority, and we will inform parents of any changes due to weather conditions.

Join us for an exciting and educational Wilderness Hiking Stick & Survival Class designed especially for kids! This hands-on workshop is perfect for young adventurers who love the outdoors and want to learn important survival skills while creating their very own customized hiking stick.
Workshop Highlights:
Hiking Stick Crafting:
- Design Your Stick: Choose from a variety of wood sticks and personalize your hiking stick with paint and decorations. We will guide you through safe and creative techniques to make your stick unique.
- Functional Add-Ons: Add practical features to your hiking stick such as a whistle.

What’s Included:
- All materials for crafting and decorating a personalized hiking stick.
- Instruction and guidance from experienced outdoor educators.
